KOSMA with teflon foil
The teflon foil protects the telescope from the sunlight.

The instrumentation is used for investigations of the large-scale distribution, the physical and chemical conditions of the interstellar medium, and for observations of star forming regions, galaxies, massive stars, and interstellar clouds.
